Three girls watch the excitement after the Giants sweep the World Series
It was a little sad that the San Francisco Giants won the World Series last night. If they had lost, the Detroit Tigers would have had another chance to win, this time in San Francisco. So all baseball fans would have gotten a few more games, this time on our home turf. And the Detroit fans looked so sad…I think some of them were praying, but it was hard to tell the way they were huddling in the cold. And let’s face it, Detroit needs a win in something. If the Giants lost, people would go back to their Victorians and their tech start ups and look forward to the next street festival. It’s not going to affect the city’s suicide rate. But I think we’re all a little worried about Detroit. She needed this one.
Oh well, the cruel laughing God(s) favor the West Coast heathens once again.
