Tomorrow (4/11), 7 PM, doors at 6 PM. The Georges Méliès short films (which must be the main draw) will almost certainly be projected from DVD, rather than prints, but I’m planning to go regardless.
Alamo Theaters is one of those that serves beer and “real” food. They also plan to restore the architecture while installing state-of-the-art sound. This is welcome news now that Oakland’s similar Speakeasy Theaters have now closed.
